interactive division of Paramount Pictures. He was also instrumental in
founding similar divisions for sister companies MTV, Nickelodeon, and

of entertainment news and their websites through a successful deal with
Entertainment Tonight and Yahoo. His team was involved in
Paramount’s participation in MovieLink. Leonard also forged

Jeff is a seasoned Silicon Valley veteran and
network management expert who previously worked at Cisco Systems,
Novell, and Hewlett Packard in marketing, and engineering roles.
At Cisco, Jeff was in charge of the marketing and engineering efforts
for Cisco's network management group where he managed and learned QoS
technology. nuMetra has been the result of his experience in which he
felt a fundamentally new approach was required. This approach would
allow media companies and others to effectively get much better service
without commenurately increasing costs to themselves or require massive
capital investments by ISPs.
Previously, Jeff was a director at Novell where he managed the NetWare
and Network Management product lines and acted as Executive Director directly reporting to the CEO and Chairman. In his
roles at Novell, Jeff helped coordinate Board meetings, set product
direction and strategy, and supported the CEO.
Prior to Novell, Jeff worked for Hewlett Packard as a Member of the
Technical Staff (MTS) in the protocol analysis group. This experience
helped him to understand the low level interactions and nature of
network traffic, including LAN technologies such as Ethernet, and TCP.
In addition, he developed real-time recognition algorithms for network
analysis products.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Institute of
Technology at CWRU. Prior to CWRU Jeff attended Dickinson College, a
liberal arts school in Carlisle Pennsylvania.
