According to a recent Reuters article which sites a survey conducted by Futuresource Consulting, eight percent of consumers in Britain, France and Germany and the U.S. admit to watching video from illegitimate sources.
Here's a citation worthy of consideration in terms of the future of online video: "The survey found that 90 percent of those who watched video content online had never paid to watch news or recently-missed TV shows. Just over half had never paid to watch new movies. But most said they would or might be willing to pay in future."
